Best friends forever, Tom and Lola are two cops who are polar opposites. And frankly, between a loud-mouthed police captain and a calm and thoughtful narcotics officer, they adore each other, but things often get out of hand between them! When Tom gets dumped by his wife, Lola can't leave him on the streets. Especially with his 14-year-old daughter, who he has every other week! So, she takes him in. But at what cost?! Her peace of mind and that of her two teenagers, whom she raises alone, will take a big hit! But what Lola didn't see coming is that Tom, in addition to being her roommate, will become her teammate at the police station!

Tom and Lola discover the body of a man who escaped from prison. It appears to be one Julien Bartoletti, incarcerated for murder, while proclaiming his innocence. But an autopsy reveals that the body is not Julien's. He is on the run, ready to seek revenge and take justice into his own hands...

One morning, in the IML, Gaëlle wakes up as if drugged, and discovers her lover murdered next to her. Everything points to her, all the evidence points to her. Lola and the squad conduct a biased investigation, trying every means to exonerate her, while the incriminating evidence continues to emerge one after the other. They will only have the time while she is in police custody to find the real culprit. In the meantime, the clock is ticking and the axe is getting closer and closer, leading Gaëlle straight to indictment.
