A chegada de um milionário que adora conquistar mulheres casadas tira o sossego dos moradores do Jambalaya. No episódio ‘Eu também compro esta mulher’, Damasceno, que sempre escondeu uma grande paixão por Rita oferece um milhão de dólares para passar uma noite com a mulher de Arnaldo. O milionário pede ajuda para Isadora e Mario Jorge, antigo amigo de Damasceno. Para dar uma forcinha na negociação e convencer Arnaldo a permitir que Rita aceite o convite de seu antigo admirador, D. Álvara o procura para dizer que há uma enorme dívida em seu nome no Jambalaya. É claro que esta mentira vem à tona, deixando Arnaldo um pouco mais aliviado. Mas a esta altura, Rita já está convencida de que seria um excelente negócio aceitar a inusitada proposta de Damasceno.
