The Team Meets New Stig
Top Gear heads to the Isle of Man for a special edition showing what the team got up to during their summer holidays. Jeremy Clarkson drives the quickest BMW M3 that money can buy. Top Gear introduces the new Stig, and James May and Richard Hammond try out a bevy of BMWs, Porsche Boxster and Honda S2000 on the Isle's famous TT circuit. This week's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is Stephen Fry. And the team finds out how many caravans a Volvo estate can jump.
Hammond Nearly Drowns
Jeremy Clarkson looks at the bling-bling Continental GT and the changing face of Bentley. James May takes a spin in the new Subaru Legacy, while Richard Hammond gives Top Gear's safety experts something to do when he investigates the best way to escape from a submerged car. This week's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is Welsh actor/comedian Rob Brydon (Marion & Geoff, Gaving & Stacey).

Top Gear celebrates the heritage and power of Lamborghini by dedicating this episode to the Italian supercar maker. Clarkson tries out their latest offering, the Gallardo. Meanwhile, Richard Hammond tries out Lamborghini's enduring classic, the Miura. James May drives Lamborghini's iconic 1980s pin-up, the Countach. The Star in the Reasonably Priced Car is US stand-up comedian Rich Hall.
The Hilux Won't Die
Clarkson tests Toyota's Hillux pick-up truck to destruction with a series of extraordinary tasks, James May puts the new Alfa Romeo 166 through its paces and Richard Hammond looks at some classic cars in waiting: the Mercedes 190E and the VW Corrado. Clarkson also takes Mazda's latest sports coupé, the Wankel Rotary powered RX3, to the limits on Top Gear's Test Track. Top Gear looks at the German contribution to the world of motoring. Jeremy Clarkson takes Porsche's stunningly fast Cayenne off-roading at an Army tank-testing range. In Cape Town, South Africa, Richard Hammond gets his hands on Mercedes' fastest road car, the SLR - developed by Formula 1 team McLaren. And James May looks at some of the worst handling cars on the market. And this week's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is the award-winning comedian-impressionist Rory Bremner.
The Top Gear Generation Game
Top Gear finds Jeremy Clarkson comparing the current Mercedes SL with the same model from 1972. Richard Hammond sees how much car you can get for under £10,000 when he tries out the latest Nissan Micra. Clarkson compares the modern day Audi TT V6 to Ford's classic Capri V6. And the Star in the Reasonably Priced Car is actor-comedian Johnny Vegas (The Libertine, Bleak House).
