Episode 22

It's estimated that nearly 15,000 police pursuits take place every year, putting the police and the public at risk, as out-of-control criminals try to avoid being caught. Seven and a half thousand accidents occur every year when drivers lose control of their vehicles. In this episode, officers spot a speeding car and are forced to pursue the driver as he fails to stop. The driver heads the wrong way down a dual carriageway before darting off road and switching off his headlights to try and avoid capture. Near Derby, the race is on to save a driver who has lost control of his car and has careered off a dual carriageway and into a swamp.
