Derbyshire officers battle a surge in car crime across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire, with 10 police units from two forces pursuing a gang of suspected car thieves using fake registration plates to steal high-powered vehicles. On the M1, officers apprehend the driver of a stolen vehicle at a motorway services and discover he is carrying a selection of dangerous knives, with identity checks revealing the man is wanted for a serious assault and robbery.
