Fathers Dan and Jon and their very different lives collide when Dan's teenage son tragically dies under the care of trauma consultant Jon in a Central London hospital.
Episode 2
Dan is dismissed from his job at the hospital coffee shop after Jon submits multiple complaints. Meanwhile, Dan and Susie's relationship is on the rocks as he becomes obsessed with Jon and finding out exactly what happened the night his son died.
Episode 3
Dan undermines Jon's daughter Alana's relationship with her father and guilt trips Jon's wife Lisa into taking pity on him, all while warning Jon not to contact the police. As Dan holds Alana at knifepoint, he forces Jon to admit that he made a mistake during Alex's surgery.

She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.
