Regina decided to tell her businessman husband, Vadim. She'd met another man and expected this new misfortune to bring the same warmth that had faded over the years in her family. The biggest problem was her daughter, Anya. The teenage girl didn't want to hear about her parents' divorce. Vadim insisted that his daughter stay with him because Regina would soon come to her senses and return home. Then Regina took a desperate step: she confessed that she had Anya by another man. She hadn't confessed to Vadim about her infidelity, and he had raised someone else's daughter. To Regina's surprise, Vadim said he'd always known about it. Thinking he simply didn't believe her, she threatened to have a genetic test. Vadim advised her against it: she didn't like the results. "He was right," he shocked Regina. Vadim really wasn't the girl's father. But if only that... To uncover the secret of her own daughter's birth, Regina had to look at the past differently.
