Der Tag, als Carlo Brenner starb

When a cult-like Hintervorderbach resident passes away, Carlo must help his friends carry out the man's wishes. Not exactly legally, of course. Summer in Upper Swabia is drawing to a close when Konne, a regular customer at the bar of the "Bären", meets his fate. While the village community mourns at the Brenners' inn, Konne's friends Hartmut and Roberto try to remove the body from the village. They want to pay their last respects to the deceased. Carlo stumbles upon the two elderly men in the "Bären" cold storage cellar, almost by chance. They have hidden Konne's body there and are in the process of loading him into their car. Before he knows it, Carlo has to lend a helping hand. Carlo's curious mother, Sabine, is surprised by the "drunk" her son brings to the car. Was Edi from Fricker even at the wake? During the drive, the two strangers explain the situation.
