German officers Evald and Ralf arrive to give this small force a helping hand, while neighbourhood officers Kirsty Bowley and Stuart McLean unearth some drugs, and traffic cop Wayne Softley faces a tough challenge at a mountain crash. Meanwhile, clerk of the course Gary Thompson battles to get a race away on time.

In this episode, Sunday mayhem leaves the road traffic cops stretched to the limit. A crash survivor opens up about his dice with death, and neighbourhood officers Stuart McLean and Steve Hall embrace the TT spirit in Douglas town. Meanwhile, Chief Constable Gary Roberts has an encounter with a flush of ducks, and heavy fog threatens the last 2016 TT race.

The Answers

The thousands of books that line the shelves of his shop provide him with all the knowledge he needs.
Book has gathered around him a host of lovable, damaged misfits whom he informally protects, cajoles, and mentors. His wife Trottie runs the wallpaper shop next door. She's a charismatic adventuress whom Book loves deeply but not physically, for they are in a 'lavender' marriage to help conceal Book's sexual orientation in a time when it was illegal to be gay.
Bookish marries post-war nostalgia with the reckless and life-affirming atmosphere of the times, creating a fast-paced and stylish detective drama.
