Twin Blossoms in the Palace (2025)
During the Daqing era, the Jiang family of the Imperial Medical Bureau suffered a massacre. Consort Yi, seeking the heart's blood of someone born in a "yin year and yin day" to refine an elixir, killed Madam Jiang as she tried to protect her daughters. With her dying breath, Madam Jiang instructed Jiang Wei and Jiang Yan to conceal their birth dates and protect each other for life. Ten years later, the sisters entered the palace disguised as medical attendants to avenge their family. Jiang Yan planned to win the emperor's attention with the Red Plum Dance, while Jiang Wei secured her position by solving the emperor's dilemma through the "Seven-Star Radiance Formation." The harem was rife with danger. Consort Yi forced Jiang Wei to destroy Jiang Yan's appearance, but Jiang Wei disfigured herself instead to protect her. The empress forged letters to frame the sisters for conspiring with Prince Yan in rebellion. To survive, the sisters staged a falling-out: Jiang Yan won favor and was granted the title of consort to restrain their enemies, while Jiang Wei worked in the shadows, collaborating with Prince Yan, who held military power, to uncover the truth: their father had been falsely accused of treason, and it had actually been the emperor who used the Prince of Zhennan to eliminate loyal officials. At Jiang Yan's coronation ceremony, Jiang Wei appeared with evidence that exposed the emperor's crimes. Prince Yan led his troops to seize control of the imperial guards, and the emperor abdicated. Five years later, Jiang Yan governed as regent to the young emperor, while Jiang Wei married Prince Yan. The sisters finally cleared their family's name, and each found their own happiness
