One of the twin brothers, posing under the Commander's name, massacres the Zhuang family in cold blood. Zhuang Yunqiu narrowly escapes death and assumes the identity of a wealthy heiress, marrying into the Commander's residence to exact her revenge. But as she carefully carries out her plan from within the arranged marriage, she begins to notice unsettling inconsistencies. She soon discovers that the "Commander" is merely a façade shared between the twin brothers, while the younger twin has been hiding in the shadows, quietly enduring and secretly gathering evidence to uncover the truth behind the massacre. Bound together by revenge, the two initially test and distrust one another, only to gradually develop feelings amid the dangerous deception surrounding them. Together, they set a trap to expose the crimes of the powerful and restore peace to the land.
