Two best mates, two bikes and over 200 miles of beautiful French landscape. David Baddiel and Hugh Dennis, who've been friends for 40 years, pedal through France while getting up to mischief, exploring stunning local sights and having a good chat along the way. Gearing up for their longest holiday together, they begin in Arcachon - a beautiful seaside resort on the Atlantic - and head towards the grand city of Bordeaux. They discover the city's amazing Renaissance architecture, take in the stunning waterfront and sample delicious seafood in its 250-year-old market. Heading east, David and Hugh visit the Château Toulouse-Lautrec to see where the famous painter created some of his masterpieces. For the final leg, they explore the historic Garonne canal and tackle David's first hill of the trip to discover the incredible view over the whole Garonne River valley.
