Episode 1
Documentary following the British & Irish Lions on their tour of South Africa in July and August 2021, beginning as coach Warren Gatland picks his squad and the team come together in Jersey. Meanwhile in South Africa, the Springboks assemble for the first time in 20 months due to the pandemic, with fitness and conditioning a big concern for the coaching staff in Edinburgh.

Episode 2
In the build-up to the first test, the team captains Alun Wyn Jones and Siya Kolisi return, creating new dilemmas for the coaching staff. As a war of words erupts between coaches Warren Gatland and Rassie Erasmus, players Stuart Hogg and Duhan van der Merwe yearn for selection and the Lions steel themselves for a physical encounter.

Episode 3
As the Rassie video controversy engulfs the tour, the Springboks must pick themselves up from a first defeat to become the first side in history to lose the first Test and still win the series. When the Springboks overpower the Lions to win the second game, it's now down to a series decider for the first time in South Africa in 110 years.
