Malik reluctantly goes on his first camping trip. Jazmine is upset she's not allowed to go, but lightens up when she finds out she'll get to have a girls night in.

How Do You Spell… It's All About Me?
Ella is spending a lot of time away from home and Curtis is beginning to wonder if she is having an affair. Meanwhile, Jazmine participates in a spelling bee.

Ella makes the family give up the use of all electronic devices; CJ learns a surprising secret; a Hollywood actor does research at the barbershop for his next movie.

Old School vs. New School
It's Malik's birthday and he's being a brat about the kind of party and gifts he wants. Meanwhile, with Miranda's help, Calvin invests in the barbershop and becomes a partner.

Ella is going through menopause and the entire household is suffering with her.

Unsung Heros
Calvin plans a surprise party when he learns his friend is coming home from Iraq. Meanwhile, Malik has to write a school paper about his role model, Curtis and CJ try to bribe him into choosing one of them.

Curtis teaches Jazmine and Malik a valuable lesson on what it means to do without the comforts of home. Meanwhile, the barbers find out that Delante has been living in the barbershop.

True Lies
Kevin and Malik skip school with the intention of seducing their girlfriends. Meanwhile, Peanut uses the Paynes as his family to impress a girl.

That Sounds Sweet
After a successful bake sale, Claretha convinces Ella to start her own business, and pretty soon, things get out of hand. Meanwhile, Malik enters a talent show to impress a girl.

Meet the Lucases
The Paynes meet Miranda's family, and in the middle of a heated discussion between Curtis and Calvin, Curtis has a heart attack and collapses.

Out on a Limb
Calvin is ready to propose and buys a ring for Miranda that is more than he can afford. Ella and Claretha go with Jazmine and her Girl Scout troop to the mountains, and end up getting the troop lost.

Can't Buy Me Love
Calvin makes plans at a fancy restaurant to propose to Miranda but starts to question if he'll be rich enough to support her.

To Have and to Hold
After two attempts at proposing, Calvin decides to keep it simple and propose at home. But it gets complicated when Jazmine loses the ring while playing with it.

Unexpected Results
Jazmine gets a perfect score on an aptitude test which wreaks havoc on the family. CJ and Tanya break up.

Let's Get Ready to Rumble
Curtis and Malik are left to chaperon Jazmine's slumber party when CJ and Janine get held up at the barber shop.

Grandpa Kelly comes to town, and upon meeting Miranda, realizes he knew her in a past life. Meanwhile, the barbers befriend a homeless man who is searching for his son.

Ella goes with Miranda to the mall to complete her wedding registry, but things get out of hand when Ella takes over.

All Is Not Lost!
When things start to go awry with Calvin and Miranda's wedding plans, Calvin gets cold feet. Meanwhile, we see that Curtis has gained weight since his last tuxedo fitting.

The guys want to throw Calvin a bachelor party, but Miranda won't hear of it.

The rehearsal dinner turns chaotic when Miranda passes out and uninvited guests show up.
