Ruth looks for a way to get the brainwashed children away from their new headmaster, Obadiah, but The Highest has other ideas. When River attempts to get back into The Highest good graces, he discovers Dikahn plans to make his life a living hell.

The Night is Long
Ruth desperately tries to prevent the mass suicide of the Rakudushi members, which includes her daughter, Callie. River has his back against the wall, when multiple adversaries threaten to make his life a living hell.
