Episode 2

In this episode, Jim takes a boat trip to the tiny archipelago of Millisle, which proves to be an eye-opening experience for him. Other summer visitors to Millisle include a group of teenagers who get to enjoy carefree days at the caravan that are hard to find at home in Belfast - and for them the highlight of the summer is the 11th night ‘boney’. Heather brings her special-needs son Scott to a caravan park in Cranfield, where he can roam around at will on his three-wheeler bike. Trouble strikes, however, when his bike breaks down, but luckily a fellow caravanner steps in with a surprise. Terry and Linda are a retired couple with a caravan in Ballycastle, at one of NI’s newest caravan parks. With their working lives behind them, they give thanks for being able to do exactly as they please at the park.

Episode 3

Jon survived a heart attack two years ago, thanks to the help he got from the two managers at Shanlieve caravan park in Cranfield. He is now one of NI’s few year-round caravan park residents. For some people, being on a caravan park is their full-time job - but is living on-site the same as being there on holiday? Catherine and husband Rick are also in Cranfield to award the annual best-kept caravan prizes, while their son Miles goes paddle-boarding with his friends. Jo’s family have been coming to Carnlough for three generations, and she is continuing the long-standing tradition by bringing her son Ben there for a summer of harbour jumping and hanging out with his friends, as well as some rowdy board games. Colin enjoys life on the road in his brightly painted caravan, but home has proved a strong draw as he returns to tend his mother’s grave and tell how she competed in Miss World 1954.
