Season 1
Ten teams of two take part in the ultimate search and rescue across New Zealand. They must navigate treacherous terrain, facing natural obstacles and high-pressure scenarios, to complete their mission and claim a cash prize of $100k.

Episode 1
10 rescuers set out on the first 24 hour leg mission to free their loved one. If they fail to make it to a rendezvous point in time, they will be eliminated.
Episode 2
Beginning at Skipper's Canyon on New Zealand's South-Island, the captives must navigate their rescuers through the second-of-nine 24 hour legs.
Episode 3
Beginning at Lake Wanaka on New Zealand's South-Island, the captives must navigate their rescuers through the third-of-nine 24 hour legs.
Episode 4
With the clock resetting at Matukituki on New Zealand's South-Island, the captives must navigate their exhausted rescuers through the fourth-of-nine 24 hour legs.
Episode 5
Beginning at Rees Valley on New Zealand's South-Island, the captives must navigate their rescuers through the fifth-of-nine 24 hour legs. Those who fail will be eliminated.
Episode 6
Beginning at Mount Cook on New Zealand's South-Island, the captives must navigate their rescuers through the sixth-of-nine 24 hour legs.
Episode 7
Beginning near Dunedin on New Zealand's South-Island, the captives must navigate their rescuers through the seventh-of-nine 24 hour legs.
Episode 8
Beginning near Waitomo on New Zealand's North-Island, the captives must navigate their rescuers through the eighth-of-nine 24 hour legs.
Episode 9
It's the final leg for the remaining 3 rescuers and their team-mates who remain locked up in the wilderness. Will the rescuers reach them in time and share in the $100,000 reward?
