Fallujah: The Taking of Terror Central
U.S. forces face one of the toughest urban conflicts since the Vietnam War as they try to reclaim the Iraqi city of Fallujah from insurgents. Operation Phantom Fury, a second battle for Fallujah, Iraq, fought between U.S.-led coalition forces and jihadist insurgents in late 2004, is examined in the premiere of a series that chronicles modern military conflicts using interviews with combatants, CGI animation and reenactments.

Hue: Vietnam's Bloodiest Battle

Baghdad: Thunder Runs
A battalion of U.S. Army tanks invades Baghdad in April 2003, catching Iraqi forces off guard and contriuting to the fall of the capital city during the Iraq War.

Courage at Sea
A small group of ill-prepared U.S. ships attacks the Japanese Navy, who assaults them with the largest battleships ever built in this historic naval conflict. This episode chronicles the Battle for Leyte Gulf, an October 1944 confrontation that led to the liberation of the Philippines during World War II.

Khe Sanh: Marines Under Siege
A 77-day battle in South Vietnam pits 6,000 outnumbered U.S. Marines against a highly trained Communist army.

Midway: Taking Back the Pacific
A chronicle of the Battle of Midway: six months after Pearl Harbour in the June 1942 naval battle, the U.S. Navy decisively beat the Japanese Navy in the Pacific. The Americans take on the most powerful navy in the world and win.

American forces overcome treacherous conditions as they fight thousands of Japanese soldiers on mountainous terrain.

Chosin: One Way Out
In the Korean War's Battle of Chosin Reservoir, U.S. Marines encounter brutal weather conditions and an overwhelming Chinese force.

Bulge: Holding the Line
German forces use the unguarded forests of the Ardennes to launch a surprise attack on the Allies during World War II.
