Courtnay and Megan
Courtnay from Inverness is only 14 and five months pregnant. After deciding with 16-year-old boyfriend Danny to go ahead with the pregnancy, tragedy struck - Courtnay was three months into the pregnancy when Danny was killed in a car accident. Dealing with her grief and her underage pregnancy, Courtnay faces an uphill struggle. Will she be able to turn a corner with the baby arriving?
Pregnant at 13, Megan from Portsmouth is now 14 and five months pregnant, and thinks she's ready to be a mum. She lives with her mum Helen who is on benefits and already worrying about how to financially support Megan's baby. With Megan determined to have more babies in the future, Helen is hoping childbirth will put her off. Megan's relationship with her 15-year-old boyfriend Lucas is frequently off and on. Will they make their relationship work for the sake of the baby or is Megan destined to be a single mum?

Carly and Mollie
16 year old Carly is six months into a difficult pregnancy and struggling to see light at the end of the tunnel. With a history of miscarriage and still born in the family she is worried for the safety of her child; on top of that her already troubled relationship with her younger brother is getting worse by the day so she's decided to go it alone and move out. Her 34 year old mum Mandy is desperate to help her daughter, but is her protective nature only helping to drive Carly away?

Wilful from an early age Mollie got kicked out of school at the age of 14 and just months later fell pregnant to her 15 year old boyfriend. Becca and Michelle

16-year-old Kelly and 23-year-old Dan are parents to one-year-old Natasha. With an age gap of seven years their relationship started under a cloud of disapproval from both families, but they soon convinced everyone that age is just a number. However, four months after the birth they found out they were having their second child, a month later Dan lost his job and Kelly's pregnancy is running far from smoothly. Amy and Tasha
16-year-old Amy is four months pregnant. Rejected by her ex-boyfriend, Amy is determined that he acknowledges the child is his and, raised by a single parent herself, she is keen to bring her child up with a mum and a dad. Amy's pregnancy doesn't get in the way of her finding love with new boyfriend Daniel, but will he be able to treat the baby as his own? Will Amy give up trying to get the biological father involved?

Cacherrah and Chenice
15-year-old Cacherrah and 16-year-old Chenice became best friends when they were both expelled from school and went to a pupil referral unit. But the similiarites don't end there - both will soon be teenage parents, as Cacherrah is mum to four-month-old Malakai, Chenice is a mum-to-be and both will be coping on their own.
Cacherrah is still with the father of her child, 17-year-old Jehrique, but her mum lives with her boyfriend and her dad lives 40 miles away. How will she juggle motherhood with the mounting pressure of her mock GCSEs?

Leah and Natasha
Natasha from Dumfries is 16 and her baby son Leo is two months old. Despite wishing she was older before becoming a mum, Natasha's long-term relationship with boyfriend Jordan is standing up to pressure. Living with Jordan's parents, over-crowding is a serious issue - the young couple have to share a room with their baby and Jordan's 14-year-old brother Connor. Poverty strikes as the couple try and live with a few pounds left over after bills. Will Jordan be able to provide for his young family or will real life pressures prove to be too much for them?
Leah from south London is 15 and three months pregnant. A high achiever academically, her pregnancy is a shock to mum Jeannie. As her pregnancy progresses, the practicalities of becoming a mum are sinking in, while her dreams of becoming a doctor are hanging in the balance
