Arktinen rintama
The United States and the Soviet Union worked closely together during World War II to defeat Hitler's Germany. However, the Allied rupture and the ruthless competition over Nazi weapons technology began behind the scenes even before the end of the war and quickly escalated to their extremes. The superpowers began to seek a stronger foothold in the Arctic region. At the beginning of the Cold War, the North prepared for guerrilla warfare, tried to protect important intelligence, and tried to stay in the nuclear arms race.

Pohjoisen rautaesirippu
The technological race between the superpowers intensifies as rocket development and nuclear tests are carried out with the help of scientists brought from Germany. The need for intelligence is enormous and spy balloons and planes fly over the North Pole and in the northern skies. The United States is building radar networks for bombers and intercontinental missiles. The Nordic countries are waking up to the increased threat of nuclear war and are concerned about the effects of large-scale nuclear tests in the vicinity. The revealed espionage activities of the United States are causing a major crisis in Norway.

The United States builds an extensive nuclear weapons network under the ice and prepares for a Soviet attack with a plan to drop thousands of nuclear weapons. The Nordic countries are also on the list of nuclear targets. The superpower race causes destruction in the Arctic nature and claims human lives in space. Finland is pressured into military cooperation and President Kekkonen's role is also suspected abroad. Norway tries to make amends with the loose Soviet Union.
