Arturo hereda de su tío millonario una máquina de algodón de azúcar, pero a Magdalena no le parece la idea de vender algodones y se deshace de ella.
Los Rivers rescatan la máquina de algodones de azúcar inician un buen negocio, ante la envidia de Magdalena, los Rivers deciden devolver la máquina a los López, pero resulta un engaño ya que no estaban autorizados para vender en la vía pública y son llevados a la cárcel.
