A jellyfish-like alien object hovers over Stockholm and chaos erupts. Biologist Zandra Kraft links the phenomenon to a mysterious fungus. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Moa Halmgren and crisis expert Elias Charbel try to understand the situation.
Zandras upptäckt
Moa orders an attack on the creature in the sky, but Elias warns of a possible explosion. Zandra breaks curfew to investigate the mushroom and reach Moa and Elias with her find before it's too late.
Ägget
Zandra and Elias follow the creature into the forest where it has dropped something on the ground – an egg-like object. Moa deals with a growing crisis while Zandra finds a strange creature that she takes home. Elias reveals his secret.
Invasionen
Adult creatures create panic. Zandra worries that Kasper is not growing. Moa and Petra come into conflict over the egg. Adam is influenced by conspiracy theories and becomes furious when he finds Kasper's cage.

Zandra and Kasper move in with Elias. Petra betrays Moa. The egg disappears into the ground. Holger kidnaps Kasper. In sheer desperation, Zandra eats a mushroom and experiences something unexpected.

Kasper attacks Holger. Moa is threatened with a vote of no confidence, while everything indicates that children are being influenced by the creature in the sky. Elias is in danger after a violent confrontation with the creatures. And soon even more appear.
