Vida perfecta - Season 1

María is abandoned by her lifelong boyfriend and, devastated, goes to live with her sister Esther, who confirms that she never lets herself go. This is how María decides to get high for the first time in her life and both go to the birthday of their friend Cris's daughter. There, María sleeps with the gardener, without noticing that he suffers from a disability.

María locates Gari, Cris's gardener, who has made her pregnant and discovers that he has an intellectual disability. Cris tries to resume her relationship with Pablo, but he is not interested. Esther confronts her fear of death while fooling around with the idea of opening an Instagram account. Cris flirts with a handsome stranger and asks for his number.

María offends Gari when she asks him what kind of disability he has. Esther opens an Instagram account and tries to clumsily imitate what the younger influencers post. Cris decides to register on a dating website for unfaithful married people. Gari tells Xosé, the social worker who guards him, and his father, that he has gotten a girl pregnant.

Accompanied by Esther and Gari, María goes to her parents' house to tell them about her separation from Gustavo and that she is pregnant with another man's baby. Gari has a very important conversation with María. After meeting her usual friends and asking them out to a party, Esther discovers that their lives are very different now that they have children and she does not.

Now five months pregnant, María finds herself consumed by an uncontrollable libido. At Gari's housewarming, she connects with Xosé - and, later, struggles to get through to Esther, who's doubting her work more than ever after an unsuccessful night at a modern art market. Increasingly frustrated by Pablo's emotional
distance and absentee fathering, Cris takes her infidelity to the next level.

As their 15-year high school reunion approaches, María braves prenatal classes and gynecology appointments with Gari, while, thanks to Pablo, Cris finds herself increasingly torn between work and mom duties. At the reunion, they contemplate how far they've strayed from the lives they once envisioned for themselves.

On Esther's 40th birthday, a series of stressful encounters make it clear that she's lost control of her life, prompting her to go rogue. Meanwhile, María arranges for Gari and Gustavo to get to know each other, and Cris' string of affairs finally catches up to her.

After her wedding leaves Gari feeling insecure, María goes into labor while trying to reassure him. At the hospital, she finally gets some overdue clarity on what she really wants out of life. Meanwhile, Cris and Esther have some transformative realizations of their own.
