Season 3
DCI Amy Silva and DI Kirsten Longacre's new case takes them to a remote Arctic research station, where a member of a covert British special forces mission has been shot dead.
Amy and Kirsten will need to catch the killer and diffuse a potential international confrontation, driven by a land-grab for energy and resources in the changing polar climate, with both their careers and relationship on the line.

Episode 1
After the murder of a British citizen in the Arctic, DCI Amy Silva and DI Kirsten Longacre investigate. As Amy looks into a possible conspiracy on Scottish soil, Kirsten comes up against uncooperative Russian inhabitants, who are claiming foul play and obstructing her at every turn. But then they discover a missing person who could set a match to this political tinderbox.

Episode 2
After the kidnap of a government minister, Amy starts connecting the dots between his policy and his abduction as she zeroes in on the kidnapper. Kirsten navigates international agendas in the Arctic in the hunt for a missing Chinese scientist. Faced with an opportunity that could help her solve the case, Kirsten must risk consequences she may not be able to come back from.

Episode 3
Amy arrives to help Kirsten when she is faced with the wrath of the Russians. Determined to clear Kirsten's name, Amy and Kirsten dig into the complex motivations within the hub whilst something more sinister bubbles beneath its surface. The truth of Hodge's murder may be closer to home than they thought, but the situation threatens to combust before they can get to the truth.

Episode 4
In the wake of the hub invasion, Henrik and Kirsten close in on the missing scientist, with Amy not far behind. As tensions rise and new allegiances are formed, the danger of Svalbard's wilderness becomes apparent when a storm closes in. Our detectives must race to stop those with ulterior motives before it is too late, but will their relationship survive this newest hurdle?
