Season 1
Gu Jing owns and runs a retro-style restaurant known for its great cooking, and the quiet danmei writer Liu Li is a frequent customer. Liu Li's love interests become the protagonists of his stories, and despite his relationships not lasting long, he always confides in Gu Jing through every breakup. However, Liu Li's own feelings start to change over time.

Gu Jing brings a drunken Liu-li back to his place, and the two of them spend the night together.

It's Liu Li's birthday and Gu Jing takes him to the aquarium, while his friends prepare a birthday party that same night.

Episode 5
Gu Jing agrees to be Liu Li's reference for his third book, and the two of them start their dating journey.

Episode 6
Gu Jing originally wanted to share a romantic meal with Liu Li, but the both of them ran into surprising guests.

Episode 7
The assistant tries to win back Liu Li, and all the actions taken by him make Gu Jing feel bad.

Episode 8
It's hard for Liu Li to let go of his assistant, but Gu Jin's sudden coldness and detachment makes him feel very uncomfortable.

Episode 9
After learning that today is Gu Jing's birthday, Liu Li decides to head to his house and win him back.

Episode 10
Liu Li and Gu Jing end up together, but Gu Jing's mother and Liu Li's assistant show up and make trouble for the new couple.
