Social media, pornography and loneliness.... there are many possible causes, but the result is unprecedented levels of body image anxiety and a fear of sex and intimacy. This warm, authentic and thought-provoking series explores these issues as some of the world's leading sexologists take the 12 courageous virgins - who all experience intimacy anxiety - on a unique, hands-on programme, to help them take their first steps towards sex and intimacy. But with so many of the group terrified of even being touched, will any of them be able to fall in love, fall into bed... or achieve their ultimate aim of losing their virginity? In this first episode, the group arrive at the island retreat and learn more about the hands-on therapy, while the experts begin to get to grips with their issues. The group learn to cope with rejection and tune in to their innermost sexual desires. Who'll be the first to confront their sexual insecurities and embrace the intimate touch?
