Mukhtar leads the operatives straight into the criminals' lair. A gang of dog kidnappers is detained, but Zhanna Eduardovna's dog is not found there. We have to start looking for Arturchik all over again. A woman receives a demand for the redemption of her pet. The operatives ambush the extortionist, but he turns out to be more cunning and hides from the police along with the money. But by this point, the operas have another suspect— the victim's lover.

Louise is the bunny ears-wearing youngest daughter with an off-kilter sense of humor that makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen – and with the public.
