Yevgeny Kopylov, the executive director of a large firm, is being blackmailed into paying back a large debt. Soon Kopylov disappears, and his wife finds a bill of exchange for 10 million dollars at home and begins to search for her husband in the morgues.

Mukhtar is involved in the search for bandits who stole the car of the military attache of the US Embassy and captured his son.
