Dokter u maakt me ziek!
Er is bijna geen kwaal meer of er is wel een behandeling voor. In de vorige eeuw heeft de medische wetenschap een triomftocht gemaakt die minstens zo ingrijpend geweest is als de industriële revolutie. Maar het heeft ook gemaakt dat iedereen die iets mankeert, een behandeling eist. Inmiddels is het medische systeem vrijwel helemaal ingericht op het vervullen van die wensen, met als gevolg dat aan de ene kant dat de gezondheidszorg onbetaalbaar is geworden en dat aan de andere kant elke onvrede en elk ongemak de naam van een ziekte moet hebben. Dokter, u maakt me ziek! gaat over mensen die aanlopen tegen èn meewerken aan het verschijnsel dat veel ziekte gedrag is en verzoorzaakt wordt door behandelaars en maatschappij.
