The chef of the pizzeria gets a gunshot wound during the celebration of the official's nephew's birthday. An official who came to congratulate a relative is sure that he could have been the shooter's victim. But it was the chef Klemeshov who was being targeted. The police find the owner of the weapon, Yeremeyev, but he has an alibi. Yeremeyev's wife Natalia turns out to be Klemeshov's mistress. Studying the identity of the victim, Seva is faced with the fact that all the information about him fits into the last six months, and before that time, the person with that name did not seem to exist.
