The Pond
Driving instructor Warren Thompson is forced to move from the south up to Preston when his partner Anne's father falls ill.

The Rival
Warren's business is not going well. He's losing pupils to a rival driving school, Daz's Drivers, and his online rating is through the floor. He sets out to turn the tide by canvassing for more pupils in the local area, but a series of unfortunate events leads to Daz's business booming more than ever. Can Warren turn his luck around?

The Tax Return
When his marital advice to brother-in-law Colin backfires, Warren is forced to take him in as a house guest - but discovers he has a raft of hidden and very useful talents.

The Father Figure
Danny confides in Warren that he's in love with a girl from school, so Warren tries to coach Danny in the ways of love. Warren also buys himself a couple of chickens, causing next door neighbour Ian to become increasingly irritated.

The Holiday
Warren's weekend away with Anne and her mum and Dad is blighted by a raucous hen party. To make matters worse, he's worried about what Charlie and Danny are up to back home - with good reason.

The Funeral
Warren's family-packed car breaks down following an altercation en route to Anne's Auntie Faye's funeral. Stuck on the motorway with his annoying family, Warren's day couldn't get any worse.
