Washington Grown - Season 9

Say hello to Season 9! In this premiere episode, we visit the modern engineering marvel, the Grand Coulee Dam, to see how irrigation changed the face of Eastern Washington agriculture. Featuring Washington potatoes, we make gnocchi at Spokane's hottest new restaurant, Tavolata. We stroll down memory lane with two old friends about growing potatoes in the Columbia Basin. We visit Farmstrong Brewing + Rooted Kitchen Food Truck in Mt. Vernon to make loaded French fries.

It's dinner time at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo, and we've got some hungry animals to feed! Travel to Whidbey Island where three sisters work together to make their farming dreams a reality and see what's cooking at Super Six. Raise chicks with Whitney, and hang out in the livestock barn at the Spokane Interstate Fair.
