Donte faces his first hurdle as a trainee teacher when he locks horns with unruly new boy Ashton and juggles a secret liaison with one of the staff.
Meanwhile, Jared attempts to win the favour of history teacher Neil to keep him sweet on his new relationship with girlfriend Libby.

Episode 2
Amidst fears for her health, Coral supports Aleena when secrets from her student's past resurface. As the situation gets worse, Coral faces a life-changing hurdle, leaving Aleena more in the dark than ever.
Schuey faces an old rival and must choose between forgiveness and giving into his anger. But his answer comes from an unexpected place.
Meanwhile, Donte confides in Neil about his suspicions regarding new boy Ashton, and Stella eases staff burdens with the introduction of new ECTs.

Episode 3
As Stace's home life falls apart, she lashes out at school and falls victim to Stella's drastic new rules. With the threat of exclusion looming, an unexpected figure arrives – but will they add more fuel to the fire?
Meanwhile, Donte makes a breakthrough with new boy Ashton, and Jared's jealousy mounts as Libby reunites with her younger sister Cat.

Episode 4
Donte's attempts to support Ashton leave him roped into chaperoning Nisha's mathlympics trip. But when Donte's world is rocked by a shocking revelation, he's left wondering – can he keep a lid on his secret liaisons? And will they get in the way of his being there for Ashton?
Jared sinks his claws deeper into Libby as his manipulation pushes her to a crisis.
Meanwhile, Schuey's unsettled by a letter from an old enemy and finds an ally in pacifist Agnes.

Episode 5
After witnessing Jared's controlling behaviour towards Libby, Amy bends school rules to seek justice. However, when things spiral out of control, Amy worries if her personal life clouded her professional judgment?
Schuey confronts his past when Agnes goes behind his back to visit a surprising person, putting their relationship under threat.
Elsewhere, Ashton battles with his conscience as he supports a struggling Tonya, and Stella's inability to cope causes her to have a brush with the law.

Episode 6
Nicky's parenting comes under fire as she defends a pain-stricken Tonya, following an accident during lessons. But as Tonya's health takes a turn for the worse, Nicky is left horrified as her daughter's life hangs in the balance.
Neil's fears are relieved as he questions Jared in the wake of Amy's accusations, but he may have unknowingly made things worse for Libby. Meanwhile, Lois struggles with a tragedy in her home life and Donte attempts to make amends with Ashton.

Nicky's parenting comes under fire as she defends a pain-stricken Tonya, following an accident during lessons. But as Tonya's health takes a turn, Nicky is left horrified as her daughter's life hangs in the balance.

With insufficient evidence, Jared is allowed to return to school. Despite Libby's attempts to move on with her life, controlling Jared is hell-bent on salvaging their relationship, by any means necessary.
Stella's world is rocked by an unexpected call as she's forced to confront her past - but will she continue her role as head?
Meanwhile, when money goes missing from the school, Joe is quick to point the finger at Schuey, and Donte worries that Ashton's bad influence is affecting his children.
