Der tote Angler

Fly fisherman Werner Brandl is found dead in Hintersee. Who killed the head of a timber house construction company? Jerry is surprised at how little Beissl knows about the victim, given that they are both members of the same fishing club.
Suspicion initially falls on barbecue rowdy Lorenz Estermann, who, according to the dead man's wife, threatened her husband shortly before his death. And to Beissl's chagrin, the detectives also have to take action in the fishing club, especially with regard to club chairman Simon Spöck. The victim had botched the construction of Spöck's wooden house, forcing Simon Spöck and his family to live on a campsite.
Did Simon Spöck want revenge on his former friend? Or is Spöck's son Hannes behind the crime? He recently started dating Katharina, the victim's daughter, which Spöck did not approve of.
Beissl's less than impressive social skills also lead to some conflicts in the Beissl household, until Johanna finally has a frank conversation with her father.
