Der Alte vom Berg
Farmer Josef Lahner is rescued by mountain rescue in the high mountains. A witness claims that someone tried to push the old man into a ravine. He suffers from dementia and lives with his daughter Sophie and grandson Christian on a run-down farm. Did his own family want to get rid of him out of desperation? Or is the wealthy Wieland farming family, to whom Josef Lahner owes a lot of money, behind the attack?
When Jerry Paulsen takes a closer look at where Josef Lahner was found and his past, the detectives uncover a dark secret that almost cost the old man his life...

Almsünde
A young woman is found dead in the river. Together with her friend Klarissa, she had been running a hair salon for two years, which was particularly popular with men. Initial suspicion falls on the aggressive ex-boyfriend of the deceased, Arthur Latzka, to whom she owed money. But there is no evidence against him.
In the course of his investigations, Jerry comes across an escort service that the two women ran in a romantic hotel. What role did the shady concierge play in the young woman's murder, and who was her last anonymous guest? These questions lead Jerry and Beissl on the trail of the murderer.

Der Tote von der Bobbahn
The team doctor of the SV Königssee bobsleigh team is found dead at the training center. Beissl and Jerry quickly realize that there is tension within the bobsleigh team, especially between the two ambitious pilots Andre Probst and Tomi Aureiner.
On the evening before the crime, an argument between the doctor and the coach escalates. But the real suspect is the team's service technician, Ludwig Mittermeier, known as Wiggerl. Beissl finds himself in a deep moral dilemma, as Wiggerl is his best friend from childhood.

Kalkül oder Liebe
Barbara Gruber, a colorful figure in the local Berchtesgaden political scene, is found murdered in her home shortly before the state elections. Shortly before her death, she had crashed the party of her political opponent Volker Haas. Did he eliminate his unwelcome rival?
Her sister Christa Gruber directs suspicion toward the married architect Hans Wörne, with whom Barbara had been having an affair until six months ago. But Christa herself also comes under suspicion, as she wanted to sell their parents' house to Volker Haas, her sister's arch-enemy. And then Ghali Bassir appears, a refugee whom Barbara Gruber wanted to marry. Calculation or love?

Fluch am Eckstein
Beissl and Jerry uncover the murder of the operator of a chairlift in Berchtesgaden and in doing so also stumble upon a covered-up murder from the past.

Inkognito
Hotelier Thorsten Enzinger is found dead in the kitchen of the hotel restaurant in the morning. Beissl and Jerry begin to investigate and quickly discover that the ownership structure surrounding the hotel is more than opaque.
Christian Bichler, the victim's brother-in-law, has a double motive for murder, as he now inherits the entire hotel. The suspicion against him is relieved by his fiancée Felicitas Beck. The deceased made advances towards her and stalked her. But then Bichler himself becomes the victim of an attack. Apparently, this was not aimed at him, but at his fiancée Felicitas, whose dubious past is increasingly becoming the focus of the detectives' investigations.

Familienbande
On their way to the Gentner distillery, hikers find the body of Sebastian Wenger. The history student from Munich had returned to his hometown of Berchtesgaden after many years to write the anniversary publication for the traditional distillery. Patriarch Franz Gentner and his son Hubert want nothing to do with any conflict—and neither does distiller Loisl Bartels.
Beissl soon discovers that the dead man had an affair with Kati, the distiller's daughter, and that she is expecting his child. This brings both Loisl and Kati's fiancé Clemens Brandner into the investigators' sights. But Jerry uncovers another secret that is closely intertwined with the young man's family history.

Der Fischer vom Königssee
Michael Kroh, a professional fisherman at Königssee, is found dead in the lake. Beissl is aware of the family's tragic fate. The father of the deceased died in a fatal accident in the mountains a few years ago. The youngest sister, Sina, was then raised by Michael and his wife Betty. However, the adolescent girl caused problems and there were also disputes with her oldest brother Peter.
Are the siblings involved in the murder? Or is the real culprit the restless Anderl, a school friend of Beissl's daughter Eva, who stole a statue of a saint from the local church at the time of the crime?
Beissl strongly suspects Anderl, while Jerry increasingly focuses his investigation on Sina. The 17-year-old and her boyfriend have big plans. But they need money to make them happen.
