We recruit dedicated food experts to compare and contrast the two supermarkets' festive offerings on their key products to find out who does Christmas best. We discover which has the best luxury crumbled top mince pies, whether 24 months aged Christmas pud beats 12 months, and compare the Christmas ad campaigns from both. Plus, we dive into the history of both stores and how the way they sell Christmas has evolved over the decades.
