Cities

Colin Stafford-Johnson and Lucy Cooke conclude their week-long adventure around the UK by exploring wildlife in our cities.
Urban areas may not be the most obvious wilderness, but with over three quarters of city space defined as 'natural' there's plenty of opportunity for wildlife to thrive.
Colin travels to Newcastle to look for a seabird with a liking for high-rise living. Lucy travels to Brighton to meet Dr Dawn Scott who's unravelling the reasons behind the red fox's urban habits. Viewers will also discover some top tips for finding the wild amongst the city and the programme will reveal how the UK's most colourful bird, the kingfisher, can find home amongst the hustle and bustle of even our busiest city, London.
The team also go behind the scenes with the Wild Alaska Live team, as they reveal how even life for the people of Alaska can be governed by the arrival of the Pacific salmon.
