Will and Ralf Should Know Better - Season 1

Season 1
Will Mellor and Ralf Little pull back the curtain on a bickering bromance that stretches over 20 years, finding out how they can do life better as two middle aged men in their forties.
Travelling the length and breadth of the UK, behind the wheel of an electric car, Will and Ralf laugh, cry and learn more about themselves and each other in a few weeks than they ever have in two decades of friendship.
Along the way they meet a series of extraordinary characters, explore unexpected worlds and push themselves well out of their comfort zones.
As Will says, ‘everyday's a school day' and whether it's trying to impress the World's Strongest Woman with their ‘strength', chatting up nettles (yes, nettles) in an eco-village, living like Stone Age cavemen, or stripping naked in front of one thousand women, Will and Ralf challenge themselves and each other to learn new things and to push themselves to do and be better.

Episodes

Episode 1
Will and Ralf are putting their physical and mental strength to the test. They meet the World's Strongest Woman, learn calming Buddhist practices and challenge themselves in an explosive Hostile Environment Training drill.

Episode 2
Will loves being outdoors and Ralf worries about the environment, so they want to explore if they could give up their creature comforts to live in harmony with nature.
Heading to an off-grid eco village in deepest Wales, Will and Ralf make a pit stop to have lunch in a seemingly regular restaurant. But much to Will's dismay, the dishes on the menu all have one common ingredient in them - insects. Will's brain is fried by the cricket tacos, but he is delighted to receive a badge for his efforts to eat it. Finally, they arrive in Wales and their eco-village hosts Shanti and Greg welcome the boys into their idyllic seeming world.
Here they forage for food, sit around campfires, and escape the pressures of modern life. It's calming and idyllic, until the guys need to answer the call of nature. Although appalled by the realities of an off-grid toilet, they do learn a life-hack for a better, more satisfying defecation. Despite the bathroom arrangements, Will and Ralf are quite taken with the idea of living in the wild, but are aware they'll need some practical skills to survive.
Meeting Will Lord, a Stone Age survival expert, they learn to make weapons, hunt with arrows, and make fire from scratch – and hardest of all for Will – sleep out under the stars. But with no roof and some mysterious noises in the dark, can they make it through a night in the wild?

Episode 3
Will & Ralf are now firmly middle-aged - but should they embrace ageing or fight it? Will's arranged a visit a specialist skin clinic, to see what kind of non-invasive treatments are available these days.

Episode 4
Coming to the end of Will & Ralf's adventure the boys have decided to push themselves out of their comfort zones one last time. Ralf takes Will to a mud assault course in an attempt to reconnect with their inner child.
