This is a legendary story that took place in Peiping in the 1930s. The patriotic hot-blooded businessman Cheng Feng Tai and the most talented Peking Opera actor Shang Xi Rui became bosom friends because of the opera. Together they forged ahead amid the chaos of the operatic circle and war, and strengthened the belief of revitalizing Peking Opera and the lofty ideal of saving the country with their own lives. Finally, they joined hands to fight against the cruel fate.
