Episode 1
Wisting and his team are alerted to a gruesome crime scene in Larvik. The severed head of a young asylum seeker is found on a stake in the middle of the square. FBI agent Maggie Griffin returns to assist in the case.

Episode 2
When a body turns up in the net of a local poacher, the two murders are linked. Will this lead the investigators to Layla's remains? Line suspects that Wisting has had a relationship with the manager of the care centre.

Episode 3
Maggie is forced to share information she has previously kept secret from Wisting. The investigation takes a completely new turn, leading Wisting and Maggie on a new hunt across the border into Sweden.

Episode 4
In Sweden, Wisting and Maggie find a previous victim. Together with the Swedish police, they are drawn into a fierce police action, and the final showdown is both intense and surprising. Can Maggie and Wisting still trust each other?

She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.
