Drama series about four successful working women in San Franciso - homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer, medical examiner Claire Washburn, assistant district attorney Jill Bernhardt and crime reporter Cindy Thomas - who use their expertise, their close friendship and their instincts to solve murder cases. Each a success in her own field, they work together to uncover clues to the city's most grisly homicides.

Cindy joins the Club, Inspector Boxer investigates a crime of passion and jealousy with Jacobi, and Claire tries to deal with her husband's depression.

Train in Vain
Boxer investigates a grisly triple homicide on a subway car, and Cindy tries to find some new evidence to gain the Club's respect. Meanwhile, Jill gets ready to move in with her boyfriend, Claire tries to help her husband with his recovery, and Boxer runs into her ex's new fiancé, Heather.

Blind Dates and Bleeding Hearts
Jill goes out on a limb to help a teenage girl whose mother was murdered. Meanwhile, Lindsay considers dating; and Claire tries to restore the spark in her relationship.

Grannies, Guns and Love Mints
The club investigates a drug ring being run out of a nursing home; Lindsay reluctantly agrees to go on a date; and Jill takes a big step in her love life.

Maybe, Baby
An expectant father is murdered, and working the case prompts Lindsay and Jill to think about what they want for the future.

Lindsay meets an NFL star when his close friend---a fellow football player---is murdered.

The Past Comes Back to Haunt You
A member of the club is abducted, and Lindsay gets a medical diagnosis that could change her life.

No Opportunity Necessary
Key murder witnesses are illegal aliens, so the club gets involved in an immigration fight. Lindsay asks her ex's fiancée, Heather, for help on the case, and is pleasantly surprised.

To Drag & To Hold
A drag queen's murder is investigated. Meanwhile, Lindsay's ex-husband marries Heather, and Jill's fiancé learns a painful secret.

FBI Guy
The club investigates the decapitation of a wine broker. Meanwhile, Lindsay, on the verge of being able to move on with her love life, is warned that she might be in mortal danger.

Father's Day
Lindsay must bend the rules to catch a cop killer. Along the way, she crosses paths with her estranged father---whose reputation in the department isn't exactly pristine---and a captain from narcotics, neither of whom she's happy to see.

And the Truth Will (Sometimes) Set You Free
A murder on a college campus seems to be motivated by revenge for a frat-party rape, and the club's investigation into the crime puts one of its members in harm's way. Meanwhile, Lindsay thinks about taking her relationship with Pete to the next level.

Never Tell
In the first season finale, Lindsay hunts a serial killer, putting her life and her romance on the line in the process.
