World Food Championships - Season 1

This competition pits home cooks and pro chefs from around the world against one another in the ultimate burger battle! After fighting through regional qualifiers around the globe, these grill masters are bringing the heat to Las Vegas for the championship. In the first round, the chefs must create a signature burger. In round two they have to add a delicious new twist to a classic patty preparation. The field is then narrowed to the top ten, and their challenge in round three is to use a mystery ingredient in their burger.

This is an intense battle between pro chefs and home cooks from around the globe over American's favorite food: bacon! After qualifying in regional competitions, these culinary all-stars are descending on Las Vegas to find out who can bring home the bacon in a three round cook-off. In the first round, contestants must create a signature bacon dish. In round two they must reinvent a bacon classic. The top 10 will move on to create one more dish pairing a mystery ingredient with bacon.

This competition features home cooks and pro chefs from all over the world duking it out for pasta supremacy. These culinary masters have blazed through regional qualifiers to advance to the finals in Las Vegas, and now they're really bringing the heat! In the first round, the chef-testants must prepare a signature pasta dish. For round two, the cooks are thrown a curve ball and need to bring their own twist to a classic noodle dish. For round three the field is narrowed to the top ten, who face their biggest challenge yet--use a mystery ingredient in a new pasta creation.

The BBQ throw-down pits 72 all-star teams from around in the world against one another in the ultimate BBQ battle! These pit masters fought their way through regional competitions to earn a coveted spot at the WFC in Las Vegas. Now they'll face off in a two round showdown to determine who is the best of the best. In the first round, the teams will present their finest ribs, pork butt, and brisket barbecue. The field is then narrowed to the top ten finalists, who must master a mystery challenge pushing the boundaries of creative barbecue. The winner receives a $10,000 prize, the title of "World BBQ Champion", and a chance to compete at the Final Table against six other category winners for $50,000 and the "World Food Champion" crown!

In the Grand Finale the best of the best are going head-to-head for the ultimate prize: $50,000 and the title of WORLD FOOD CHAMPION! These seven home cooks and professional chefs dominated their culinary category--Bacon, Sandwich, BBQ, Burger, Pasta, Dessert, and Chili--and won a place at the Final Table to compete against one another. Now there are only two challenges standing between the cheft-estants and the grand prize. First, the finalists must create a "crowd pleaser" dish with a Vegas theme, to be judged on appearance only by the public. Next, these seven competitors must create one last signature dish, featuring their category item, to prove their culinary talents and creativity. Only one category champ will reign supreme and earn the "World Food Champion" crown!
