Houston hosts Philadelphia in Game 1 of the World Series. The Phillies erased the Padres during their five-game NLCS triumph. The Astros swept the Yankees. Houston has won nine straight games dating back to a season-ending series versus Philadelphia.

Game 2: Philadelphia Phillies at Houston Astros
The Phillies aim to shock the Astros again, up 1-0 heading into Game 2 of the World Series. Houston's 5-0 lead after three innings in Game 1 was erased after the fifth, and J.T. Realmuto hit a 10th-inning solo home run to give Philadelphia a 6-5 win.

Game 3: Houston Astros at Philadelphia Phillies
The World Series shifts to Pennsylvania for Game 3 with the Astros and Phillies tied up at 1-1. Houston turned to Framber Valdez in Game 2 and the righty delivered 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball in a 5-2 win. Alex Bregman (HOU) added a two-run homer.

Game 4: Houston Astros at Philadelphia Phillies
The Phillies try to put a stranglehold on the Astros in Game 4 of the World Series. Philadelphia did its damage with the long ball in Game 3, hitting five home runs in a 7-0 win over Houston. Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber (PHI) hit two-run shots.

Game 5: Houston Astros at Philadelphia Phillies
The Astros and Phillies play Game 5 of the World Series tied at 2-2. Houston tossed the second no-hitter in World Series history to best Philadelphia 5-0 in Game 4. Cristian Javier, Bryan Abreu, Rafael Montero and Ryan Pressly combined for the honor.

Game 6: Philadelphia Phillies at Houston Astros
Houston looks to claim its second World Series title, up 3-2 entering Game 6 against Philadelphia. Future Hall of Famer Justin Verlander secured his first World Series victory in the Astros' 3-2 win in Game 5 by tossing five innings of one-run ball.
The postseason ended in November with the Astros winning their second World Series championship in franchise history in six games.
