Los Angeles hosts New York in Game 1 of the 2024 World Series. The former crosstown rivals contest the Fall Classic for a record 12th time. The Yankees, who boast an MLB-leading 27 league titles, have won eight of those 11 Series against the Dodgers.
Game 2: New York Yankees at Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers look to extend their advantage over the Yankees, up 1-0 in Game 2 of the World Series. Freddie Freeman provided the storybook ending by hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the 10th inning to give Los Angeles a 6-3 win in Game 1.
Game 3: Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Yankees
The World Series shifts to the Bronx for Game 3 between the Dodgers and the Yankees. This is the first full season to end with the two No. 1 seeds squaring off in the Fall Classic since 2013. New York and Los Angeles last met in the Series in 1981.
Game 4: Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Yankees
Aaron Judge's Yankees face the Dodgers in Game 4 of the World Series. Judge, who is expected to win his second AL MVP, hammered 58 home runs and racked up a career-high 144 RBIs in 2024. Judge hit 31 homers at Yankee Stadium in the regular season.
Game 5: Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Yankees
Live from Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, New York City, New York. Los Angeles visits New York in Game 5 of the World Series, up 3-1. The Yankees lived to fight another day after their bats woke up for an 11-4 victory in Game 4. Freddie Freeman (LAD) became the first in MLB history to homer in six straight WS games.
