In a high-stakes tag team main event pitting Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, Universal Champion Roman Reigns interfered with a Superman Punch on his Royal Rumble challenger, causing a disqualification that has barred The Usos from ringside for Reigns' title defense against Rollins at Royal Rumble.

On the final SmackDown before Royal Rumble, Seth "Freakin" Rollins played mind games with Universal Champion Roman Reigns in an intense exchange, Sasha Banks made a surprise return ready for Rumble and so much more.

After winning the Royal Rumble Match, Ronda Rousey came to SmackDown for the first time and declared that she will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Title on The Grandest Stage of the Them All. Plus, Goldberg emerged to inform Universal Champion Roman Reigns that he's next at WWE Elimination Chamber.
