Chris and the crew crash John and Kyle's backyard, a dysfunctional space with a tiny pink patio and no entertaining area. Chris transforms the yard into a private party pad complete with a cedar slat pergola, custom dining table and a matching bar.

Rustic Farm Backyard
This backyard has gone to the chickens and these homeowners desperately want to co-exist with their little critters. Chris Lambton delivers with a design that includes an oversized chicken coop, water wheel, a 10-foot farm table and a rustic grill island.

Tranquil Retreat
Chris crashes TJ and Julie's backyard, a sad space with a small patio and no landscaping. The crew brings life back to the yard by adding a huge paver patio with a dining table, a built-in barbecue island and a tranquil water feature.

Urban Putting Green Yard
Chris Lambton and his crew turn a neglected, overgrown yard into an urban putting green with a redwood deck, a custom prep counter, charcoal stone pathways and a rustic water feature.

Outdoor Living Room
Miguel and Stephanie's overgrown yard is a mess, with its dilapidated pergola and a cracking concrete patio. Chris comes to the rescue and transforms the space into an outdoor living room complete with overlapping pergolas, a custom fire pit and a new grill with bar storage.

Urban Wine Barrel Bar
Chris Lambton and his crew transform a dilapidated yard into a massive outdoor room, including an oversized bamboo deck, a custom bar made from wine barrels and a living wall full of colorful plants.

Midcentury Modern Revival
Kelly and Nicki's original 1950s backyard desperately needs to be brought into the present! Chris and his team transform the outdated space into a private midcentury modern entertaining mecca with a monkey pod fire feature, barbecue area with prep space and a large dining area.

Hillside Party Hot Tub
Chris Lambton and his team transform this wasteland of a backyard into a hillside party pad. His features include beautiful wooden stairs leading up to a redwood upper deck, retaining seat wall, and a bubbling hot tub. It also includes a lower patio area with stained concrete, a custom chaise lounge chair, resin outdoor furniture, and colorful potted plants. A decorative horizontal fence with hanging herb gardens alongside a massive stainless steel grill for outdoor cooking finish it off.

Traditional Charleston Courtyard
Chris and his crew transform a dull, muddy space into a traditional Charleston backyard. They install a local hand-cut brick patio, an oyster fire pit, a reclaimed farmhouse table and a traditional Charleston arbor to welcome guests into the space.

Charleston Low Country Escape
Cory and Lauren's low-lying yard is rotting, so they beg Chris for the ultimate outdoor living room where they can entertain their friends and family in low country style. He and his team create a huge outdoor kitchen and bar with a new smoker, a custom dining table, a hanging daybed and a raised patio with a lounging area.

San Diego Beachy Backyard
Brent and Mariah's backyard is a concrete jungle, and they need help; Chris delivers a beachy backyard with a colored concrete patio, a redwood pergola, a custom dining table, and a surfboard bar.

Lower Lounge at Blog Cabin
Chris and his team head to Blog Cabin 2016 to transform an unused area under the stilted house into a lower lounge that capitalizes on the gulf view. He builds a wood and metal pub table, then adds a fish cleaning island, living privacy wall and a modern fire table.

Sky Cabin Side Yard at Blog Cabin
Chris and his team descend on Blog Cabin 2016 to turn an empty side yard into a recreational destination complete with a stilted guest retreat, two-tiered deck with custom lounge chairs and a sand volleyball court.

Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and lest known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Before joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed The Colbert Report, which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
