Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon
Half-demon twins Towa and Setsuna were always together, living happily in Feudal Japan. But their joyous days come to an end when a forest fire separates them and Towa is thrown through a portal to modern-day Japan. There, she is found by Souta Higurashi, who raises her as his daughter after Towa finds herself unable to return to her time.
Ten years later, 14-year-old Towa is a relatively well-adjusted student, despite the fact that she often gets into fights. However, unexpected trouble arrives on her doorstep in the form of three visitors from Feudal Japan; Moroha, a bounty hunter; Setsuna, a demon slayer and Towa's long-lost twin sister; and Mistress Three-Eyes, a demon seeking a mystical object. Working together, the girls defeat their foe, but in the process, Towa discovers to her horror that Setsuna has no memory of her at all. Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi follows the three girls as they endeavor to remedy Setsuna's memory loss, as well as discover the truth about their linked destinies.

Towa Higurashi learns about an incident that took place decades ago involving a half demon named Inuyasha and a priestess named Kagome.

The Three Princesses
Half-demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other when a mysterious tunnel sends Towa into the future, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi's brother Sota.

The Dream Butterfly
In the present day, a demon emerges through the Sacred Tree at Higurashi Shrine with Setsuna, Towa's twin, and the bounty hunter Moroha in tow. Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha struggle to battle the demon, whose powers have been strengthened with two Rainbow Pearls, but seeing Setsuna in trouble awakens Towa's latent demon powers.

The Gateway to the Past
Towa decides to return to the feudal era to help Setsuna regain her memories. The trio enter the corridor leading to the feudal era, but within it awaits the spirit of a certain priestess.

Jakotsumaru of the Red Bone Palace
Safely back in the feudal era, Moroha heads to the corpse dealer to claim her bounty. Meanwhile, Towa and Setsuna take on a request to slay Jakotsumaru, a boy who has been extracting bones from humans and beasts in order to revive his father, the demon beast Tokotsu.

The Cat Juan at the Old Temple
Travelers are going missing one after another. Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha head to the northern mountains to crack the case, but instead they find a village completely overrun by ghost cats!

Meeting Through an Apple
On her way to search for the Dream Butterfly, Towa meets a strange young man named Riku. Towa offers him an apple, and in thanks, Riku presents her with the genuine Kikujumonji sword.

The Dream Gazing Trap
The owl demon Yotsume flees the deputy shogun's estate to the lair of Kyuki, a member of the Four Perils. Kyuki lends Yotsume a Rainbow Pearl to help him unleash his Dream Gazing spell upon the Half-Demon Princesses, who are hot on his trail.

Meifuku, the Meioju
Moroha accepts a job to slay Konton, a member of the Four Perils said to have defeated Meioju, a demon beast with the ultimate armored shell.

The Gold and Silver Rainbow Pearls
The Half-Demon Princesses are tasked with slaying Kinka and Ginka, conjoined twins of the Ka Demon Tribe whose battles for dominance have been wreaking havoc everywhere.

Curse of the Man-Eating Pond
Something wicked lurks in the Man-Eating Pond, devouring any human, beast or bird that comes near. On their way to slay the creature, Towa and Setsuna meet Hikomaru and Chiyo, siblings who lost their parents to the pond.

Night of the New Moon and the Black-haired Towa
Nikosen was a sage before evil consumed his soul and transformed him into a demon. Konton orders him to kill the Half-Demon Princesses. Nikosen's ambush catches Towa at a bad time, when her demon powers are fading and she is slowing turning into a human.

The Delicious Feudal Monks
Tōtetsu, the final member of the Four Perils, has been wrecking havoc by devouring high-level Shinto monks and priests to attain their increasingly powerful spiritual abilities. One of his targets is none other than Miroku, Hisui's father! Can the Half-Demon Princesses and demon-slayers reach him in time before Tōtetsu devours him?

The One Behind the Forest Fire
Towa and Setsuna set off to slay Homura, an evil mountain god who has abducted a beautiful maiden named Tamano. However, Homura is shocked at the sight of the twins; it turns out that he was involved in the forest fire that separated them ten years ago.

Farewell Under the Lunar Eclipse
Riku recalls events that took place beginning 18 years ago, when Inuyasha receives a new Black Pearl. 4 years later, on the night of Towa and Setsuna's birth, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru learn of a cataclysmic event that needs to be stopped.

Double-Edged Moroha
Konton barters with Yawaragi, Moroha's former master, to take Moroha's life in exchange for an item she seeks. Yawaragi appears before Moroha, and a showdown between master and pupil begins.

Trap of the Two Perils
Riku informs Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha about the whereabouts of Totetsu and they set out to slay him. In their pursuit, Totetsu leads them to a ravine where, unbeknownst to the girls, Konton has set up a trap to ensnare and destroy them.

Sesshomaru and Kirinmaru
Towa and Setsuna break free from Konton's trap and defeat him. They meet up with Moroha to finish off Totetsu, but he flees the battle. The girls chase after him but are suddenly attacked and find themselves face to face with Kirinmaru.

Princess Aiya's Beniyasha hunting
The demon slayers are offered a chance to be employed by the deputy shogun, but they must battle against a group of bounty hunters, which includes Moroha. Not wanting Towa to get involved, the two parties try to keep the battle a secret.

The Hidden Village for Half Demons
While on the lookout for demons deep in the mountains, Setsuna reveals to Towa what occurred during the 10 years they were separated.

Secret of the Rainbow Pearls
On the night of the new moon, Towa is visited by Riku and he reveals his intentions of gathering all seven of the Rainbows Pearls. During their conversation, Totetsu suddenly appears to attack the currently powerless Towa.

The Stolen Seal
Zero appears before the girls and removes the seal suppressing Setsuna's demon powers. When Setsuna transforms and loses control, Towa and Moroha struggle to stop her rampage.

The Three Princesses Strike Back
Towa and Setsuna hire Moroha to assist them with slaying Zero. They go to the location where the Great Dog Demon had perished long ago and find Zero, but Riku is there to defend her.

Sesshomaru's Daughter
Kirinmaru arrives and intervenes in the battle by scattering the Rainbow Pearls. Zero, enraged with her brother, cuts ties with him and flees. Sesshomaru chases after her, leaving Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha to face off against Kirinmaru.
