Ylvis i Sogn - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Vignett i rekordfart
Bård Ylvisåker surprises the brothers early in the morning and they have to create a vignette for the program under tremendous time pressure.

Firkantfar
The brothers visit mother and father Ylvisåker to get inspiration for the first song. It turns out that mother has a great built-in hatred for a statue in the village.

Lunken mat
New morning means new song. Bård Ylvisåker is annoyed that the eggs are too hot during breakfast and that the ice cream he buys later in the day is too cold, and this provides the inspiration for today's song.

Skaol Skadle
The Ylvis brothers visit Kjartan Lauritzen himself in Balestrand to make a song together. After (too) many ciders, it becomes the hit SKAOL SKADLE, after the old drunken expression "bowl - skull".

Ferjao
On the way back from Balestrand, Bård Ylvisåker discovers his love for the ferries in Sogn and gets the urge to write an excessively intense love ballad.

Helikopter
Half of the songs are done, but there is no time to rest. Bjarte is a trained helicopter pilot, and that deserves a song, but to come up with the lyrics he has to be tortured in ice water until he delivers.

Old MacAdeere
Desperation takes the Ylvis brothers when they embark on a song about the dialect in Sogn. Even if they regret it along the way, it is too late to turn around. Bård Ylvisåker has to be tortured in a narrow tube to be able to write text.

Nach
After working around the clock for days to complete six songs, Vegard, Bård and Bjarte Ylvisåker cannot escape the theme of nachspiel. It becomes a hit to have nach on the rather unfashionable ranch they live on in Sogndal.

Stao No Pao
Sogndal football's legendary supporters' song gets both a musical makeover and a new music video from the Ylvis brothers, with good help from, among others, Kjartan Lauritzen and Olav Stedje.

Konserten
With eight new songs, the entire stay will end with an insane party at a sold-out Meiriet in Sogndal. There will be sing-alongs, skaoling and a surprise lecture from the artist behind Firkantfar.

Dept. Q
DCI Carl Morck is a brilliant cop but a terrible colleague. His razor-sharp sarcasm has made him no friends in Edinburgh police. After a shooting that leaves a young PC dead, and his partner paralysed, he finds himself exiled to the basement and the sole member of Department Q; a newly formed cold case unit. The department is a PR stunt, there to distract the public from the failures of an under-resourced, failing police force that is glad to see the back of him. But more by accident than design, Carl starts to build a gang of waifs and strays who have everything to prove. So, when the stone-cold trail of a prominent civil servant who disappeared several years ago starts to heat up, Carl is back doing what he does best - rattling cages and refusing to take no for an answer.
