You Are What You Eat - Season 1

Season 1

Episodes

Adam and Jackie
Trisha Goddard and Dr Amir Khan help two people in desperate need of a life-changing, or even life-saving, intervention. They take control of their lives for eight weeks to show them how they can take control of their own lives forever. The first duo are sports coach Adam, who turned to comfort eating after a bad break-up, and fast-food addict Jackie, who is on a fast track to diabetes.

Leonie and Helen
Trisha Goddard and Dr Amir Khan help Leonie and Helen, who are both in desperate need of a life-changing, or even life-saving, intervention when it comes to their diets. Leonie may be a grown-up, but her diet is nothing but kids' cuisine, while Helen serves up three nutritious meals every day for her family, but eats food herself that she wouldn't dream of giving to her children.

Zoe and Dennica
Trisha Goddard and Dr Amir Khan help a busy mum and an entrepreneur, both in desperate need of a life-changing intervention. For busy mum Zoe, the only thing sweeter than her children is her sweet tooth, but her lifestyle rapidly needs to change, while entrepreneur Dennica needs to take action with the menopause looming.

Sabrina and Laura
When Laura isn't busy mumming, she's busy plumbing. But running around after the kids as well as running her own trade business leaves her reaching for the takeaway menu every night — so it's no wonder she's more clogged up than her customers! Sabrina loves food. But with a family history of medical problems as long as her supermarket shopping list, the You Are What You Eat team won't sugar-coat the future she faces if she doesn't make big changes.

Alex and John
Trisha Goddard and Dr Amir Khan help two more people in desperate need of a life-changing, or even life-saving, intervention. Single mum Alex has a waistline that's weighing her down, and it's not just what she eats but how much she eats, that's the problem. John's high-carb, high-fat diet has left him low on self-esteem. With fixing his physical and mental health on the menu for the You Are What You Eat team, they need to serve up their biggest plan yet.

Dawn and Ryan
Dawn is a meal-free muncher, who just nibbles her way through the day. Farmer Ryan may spend all day in the fresh air, but it's fresh food that he really needs.
