In 1968, the University of Tokyo conflict broke out. An era in which many young people went into the fight against state power. Okamoto, who had witnessed Kuroo's surgical skills before, came to Kuroo's apartment in search of the "secret" of the technique. She saw a fish with surgical scars swimming in an aquarium. However, surprised by Kuroo's words, "That was a failure," Okamoto looked into the aquarium again and found that the fish whose surgical scars had almost disappeared were swimming with him. Kuroo used fish and pig's trotters to practice surgery every day. At that time, something like a moan was heard from the rooms lined up, and the two went to the voice.
